Two to three tables every week, 19:00–23:00.
Starter Level 3 and Advanced Level 5.
Gorgeous terrain, cozy vibe, clear guidance.
What is a one-shot?
A one-shot is a single-session tabletop RPG. You sit down and learn what you need. You play a complete story and wrap up the same night. No long-term commitment, no previous experience needed. It’s perfect for beginners, busy schedules, or anyone who wants to try new characters, systems, or play styles.
In plain terms: show up, roll dice, have an adventure, go home smiling.
How we run one-shots at The Role Play Goblin
- Time & pace: 19:00–23:00 (doors 18:45). We teach as we play and land the finale on time.

- System: most weeks D&D 5e; occasional specials (heist, horror, sci-fi, or other TTRPGs).
- Characters: bring your own or use a pre-generated hero.
- Rules comfort: talk in your normal voice; simple narration is perfect. We guide the mechanics.
- Safety & accessibility: quick Session-Zero-Lite, lines/veils on request, breaks are normal.
- Environment: immersive terrain & minis, ambient music, cozy lighting, friendly tables.
- What we provide: dice & pencils to borrow, character sheets, and rule guidance.
- Language: English & Dutch friendly.
Character & gear guidelines (simple & fair)
- Levels: L3 for Starters, L5 for Advanced.
