Bookmark MicroRPG Collection

The Bookmark microRPG Collection is a set of five full-colour, dual-sided cardstock bookmarks, each one a complete micro RPG designed to be played with any book you have to hand. Designed by Seb Pines and published by Good Luck Press, the collection spans solo, two-player, and group formats — all you need is the bookmarks, a pen or pencil, and a book from your shelf.

The games ask you to write, draw, circle words, connect them, cross things out, and black out text — using the book itself as the play surface. Each game transforms whatever you are reading into something new: a horror story, a creature bestiary, a traveller's map, a margin-filled conversation, or a radically rewritten narrative.

What's in the set:

• Backbone of Beasts (2+ players) — use blackout poetry to build fantastic creatures from the text, leaving a menagerie of ink and beasts behind.
• Waylaid Travelers (duet) — tell a travel story by circling words that describe a destination, then connect those words to draw a map.
• The Watcher (solo) — turn any novel into a horror story by inserting yourself into every scene, silently unsettling the characters as you observe.
• Reader's Note (duet) — leave thoughts, jokes, and musings in the margins for the second player to discover when it is their turn to read.
• Words Unsaid (solo) — a reality-altering editing game for a book you hate, rewriting characters until the plot unravels on your terms.
